UPDATE (7/1/2004)
The date when all winners were to be notified by, June 30th, has come and gone. So it looks like I will not be on the cover of the magazine. It's ok though, I really didn't fancy all the travelling to and from New York. Who needs to be on the cover of a magazine anyway, all the important people, and the people I care about, can see me on my website!!!
Mommy and Daddy are going to send a picture of me to BabyTalk magazine to see if I can win a competition to get me on the COVER of the magazine!!! The magazine picks the five cutest kids based on the pictures they get, and sends the kids and their mommies and daddies to New York City for 3 nights, where they do a professional photo shoot of the five finalists, and the baby who's picture is the best gets on the cover.
How can you help? Well, mommy and daddy want you to help select the best photo of me to send in (by April 25th or so). So PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE look at the photos below, and pick the one that is your favorite, or just jumps out ot you the mostest as a picture that judges would love, and email me your choice by clicking HERE.
We are only allowed to use a photo of me that is taken within a month of sending in the picture, so we can't use any of those really cute ones that were taken a couple months ago, but we hope that there's a winner in these ones.........
Daddy will keep a running tally of the votes beneath each picture too maybe.
(Disclaimer - I realize that this is just a fun competition, and my self worth will not be affected by whether I win or lose, as it's not really a case of winning or losing (or so mommy keeps telling daddy). Mommy and Daddy have assured me that they will NOT be the kind of parents who dress me up in all kinds of costumes and outfits to enter me into competitions and the likes for their ego and gratification. I am a special person whether or not I am even chosen as a finalist. If I am not chosen as a finalist, it won't be because I'm not cute enough of course, just that the photo wasn't as good perhaps as the other five kids who's parents cheated and shelled out the big bucks to have some hot shot photographer 'friend' of theirs take some large format professionally lit studio portraits of them. Or that the judges are blind.
