July 19th

Mommy and Daddy took me on vacation to Lake Tahoe last weekend. We had a GREAT time. I got to see me friend Matthew Carr in Rocklin first, and play in his pool, then we went to Tahoe. I made a website for our trip. Click HERE to see it.

June 29th

Well, the competition for me to get on the cover of that magazine ends tomorrow - they haven't called us. I guess that means I didn't win. BUT, I didn't lose either. I'm actually not sad as I didn't want to fly to New York. Ha ha, it's their loss anyway, right?

I now have TWELVE teeth. I had 4 pre molars suddenly grow in, so I can REALLY leave my mark where and when I want to!!!

Daddy is really behing again on the website - he still needs to help me do sections for my birthday, and for Auntie Fiona's visit, and I've seen the photos so I KNOW there's lots of good stuff there!! Well, now that it's summer, maybe he'll get time to help me with it all.

Look forward to seeing you all in Indiana this summer, and maybe Granny and Grandad Morrison for Christmas.

May 21st

Oh my oh my, it really HAS been a long time since I wrote, hasn't it?! I guess I'll just name a few of the highlights of the last while...

Well, I had my FIRST birthday on March 26th. It was awesome!! There was a party for me, and lots of people came by to see me. I was given the most wonderful presents, and people seemed to be so thoughtful in what they gave me. I had a cake and a candle, and I got lots of cards in the mail too. I'm thinking of having another one next year it was soo fun!! Daddy says he's going to make a special section on the website with photos from the party.

In December I went to see the folks in Indiana for Christmas. I even got to see SNOW!!

Then Auntie Fiona flew out to see me from Scotland.

I have 8 teeth with 2 big ones coming in towards the back.

I can not only WALK like all over the place now, but I can CLIMB too. Mommy and Daddy aren't so happy about that it seems!!

I'm eating the same kind of food as mommy and daddy are now. They throw me the scraps from their plates!!! Just kidding. I still have some baby food from my friends at Gerber, but I really like digging in with my hands and eating things like toast, chicken, peas, banana, meatlaof, peanut butter sandwiches, tri tip, ribs, and Carl's Junior bacon western double cheeseburgers. Oh momma!!

I'm almost 14 months old now, and I've seen a lot in my lifetime already!

I start drum lessons next month. And kickboxing lessons too.

Hope y'all are doing well - keep checking out my photo pages, I think I'm up to FORTY SEVEN now!!! Mommy and Daddy say they've taken about 3,500 photos of me. Daddy's on his FOURTH camera since I was born...

November 14th

I'm not very good at updating THIS page, am I??!! Well, I've had MUCH much progress over the last month. I now have four teeth on the bottom of my mouth, and two coming in at the top, but the ones on the top are not the middle ones, they're the ones nest to that. Heh heh, that'll look funny. I am also standing like ALL the time now, and I can kinda walk around the place by hanging onto things likes tables and chairs. Mommy and Daddy even had to buy a GATE to keep me out of the kitchen!!

I had my first cold, so Mommy and Daddy have been saying 'yuk" and 'eeeeooooch" and 'gross" a lot!! I have lots and lots of gooey stuff that comes out off my nose!!!

I'm over SEVEN months old already!!

I'll be going back to Indianianana again to see this Santa guy, and maybe see some stuff they call snow. It's supposed to be a lot of fun to play in it.

I can clap my hands and wave now too!!! It's sure fun figuring out all these little tricks that make people go "ooooo, he's soooooooooooooo cute"!!!!!!!

September 8th

Hi fans!! Quite a bit has happened since I last wrote, so here goes. Firstly, we all went to Indiana to see LOTS of people!!! I got passed around a lot. We were visiting mommy's family. They're real fun, lots of really nice people!! I made a section of photos just for that trip, which you can see by clicking HERE!!!.

I now have two teeth in the bottom of my mouth. At first I didn't know what they were, so I kept trying to push them out of my mouth with my tongue, but that didn't work, all it really did was get myself soaked with my drool! Sometimes I bite myself too hard by accident cos I forget I have those things in there now!!

Oh, and now I can SIT UP!!! I fall over after a while, but I can pretty much keep sitting up for quite a while all by myself. If I have to reach too far to get a toy, then I fall over. And my crawling is improving, but I still can't figure it out completely. I got the legs part down, I just kinda keep kicking out like a froggy, but I'm not sure what to do with my hands yet, so I just kinda propel myself forward on my face.

August 1st

We will be going to Indiananana at the end of this month to see Grandma and Grandpa Francis and Auntie Lauri, and all my cousins and relatives. I am really excited to see them all. I get to go in an airyplane too!! I went to see a movie yesterday. It was my first one. It was called "Johnny English" with that Mr. Bean guy. He's real funny. I've seen him at home on mommy and daddy's DVDs. Mommy and Daddy always laugh until they start leaking out their eyes. He was a cross between Mr. Bean and James Bond.

Oogy Boogy!!

July 29th

Sheesh - so I'm back to the doktors place again today, for what I figured would just be a normal weighing (I'm up to 15.6 pounds now!!) etc, with the doktor checking me out, which he did, and then he left telling me how great I am and how healthy I am - I felt so good, so I'm all ready for mom and dad to get me out of there, and the lady doktor person comes and starts saying the same stuff too, then all of a sudden, with no warning, daddy pins me to the table by my leg and stomach and the lady STABS me with a needle in my thigh!!! So of course I go NUTS at this attack, and just when I think it can't get any worse, daddy pins down my OTHER leg and the lady stabs me in THAT one! What in the name of cute and cuddly babies is THIS all about??? Then daddy holds me up and starts cuddling me and patting me and telling me all these nice things - oh YEAH, I find this a little hypocritical after AIDING this lady's attack on an innocent and defenseless little baby. So then mommy took me away from daddy and she kissed me and cuddled me and told me how brave I was, and she made me feel better. though I'm curious as to why she was hiding behind daddy with her eyes covered during the attack...................

On another note - my rolling over is becoming very fun - I feel like I'm getting stronger each day, and I can lift my head way up now and if I wiggle my legs, I can move towards things, well, actually I kind of spin myself in circles, but hey, I'm getting there!! I think pretty soon I'll be able to figure out a way to move myself over towards all of mommy and daddys cds (I heard daddy saying something about keeping me away from them, so they MUST be fun!!!).

July 25th

I had to go to the doktors this week cos mommy and daddy saw me holding my ear, and I was hurting and crying and fussy. They thought I had an ear infection, but the lady at the doktors said my ears are perfect - then she stuck her finger in my mouth and started feeling around in there, then she said I had buds. Buds? Flower buds? What's she talking about? Mommy started crying at home and saying something about me growing up so fast, and something else about me getting teeth. Teeth? Me?

July 16th

Hi everybody!! Guess what - I managed to make myself roll over onto my tummy wummy this week!!! And I'm JUST starting to be able to push my head up a wee bit to look around. This new perspectamative is cool, though my neck really hurts after a few seconds, and falls back down, then I can't breath so I have to try and turn my head around, so my body's up in the air, but my head's down and twisted....well anyway, I'll figure it out soon, don't you worry!!

It's reeeeeeeeeeeeeally hot here just now, so mommy and daddy keep fans going in the house all the time to keep me cool. I do get a wee bit grumpy if I'm too hot - like when daddy comes home from work, and he's already very hot and sweaty from his day, and then he wants to hold me and squeeze me and cuddle me - well I HATE that - "get your overheated body away from me" I say to myself, and I generally throw a tantrum that John McEnroe would be proud of!!

I like being naked.

June 24th

Once again, I have to apologize for Daddy not doing his job and updating my website!!! But he does always have good excuses.

Granny and Grandad Morrison came to stay with us for a couple weeks. They talk in an accent! Apparently my daddy used to talk that way too!! Anyway, it was really fun when they were here. Granny liked to feed me, and I liked that too. Pretty much the best way to make friends with me is to feed me, ok? Remember that! Grandad took lots of photos and video too. We spent most of the time hanging out here at home while daddy and them caught up on 'old times'.

I've started sleeping a lot more through the night now. Mommy and daddy say that it makes them real happy!

I keep trying to hold things in my hand, but they don't work as well as mommy and daddy's. Mommy gave me this round thingy with cool colors and things on it for me the shake and chew on, but every time I try to chew on it, I whack myself in the forehead.

Maybe that's why I have a headache so often.

I'm gonna go take a tylenol...........

May 19th

Sorry everyone for the lack of activity on my wee website. Daddy's computer at work broke down, and he's having trouble figuring things out on his new one, as it uses all kinda diff'rent stuff on it than his last one. He has been taking photos of me (who wouldn't be!!), and I hope he'll have them up for you to see soon. I'm even cuter than I was the last time you saw me!!

I found out that my granny and grandad Morrison are coming to see me soon. They live very very very far away so I'm told, and they have to get on one of those plane things up in the air to come see me. I don't understand why, if they're already on the ground, they have to go way way way high up there in the sky, just to come all the way back down to the ground again to see me. That seems silly. But I am looking forward to being spoiled by them.

Daddy says that when summer comes (who's she?) he'll be at home to play with me a lot more. How exactly does that work? Some woman called Summer shows up and he gets time off of that 'work' thing, and Mommy's HAPPY about it? I'm confused!

I need to eat now...............................................

I haven't been able to update the 'news' part for a few days, as I've been real busy trying to figure, um, well, everything out! It's quite a confusing place, y'know, the world. My daddy has been gone during the days to the place he 'works". Why does he have to 'work'? So I'm at home all day with Mommy which is so much fun - she looks after me so good. She talks to me and plays with me and feeds me and tells me stories, and changes me when I, well, you know. Oh, and of course she gives me baths which I LOVE!!! I love my mommy.

I've noticed that when I kinda turn up the corner of my mouth when I have a 'rumbly in my tumbly', my mommy and daddy start yelling "he's smiling....he's smiling...did you see that...he smiled at me." What's a 'smile'? When the 'rumbly' LEAVES my tumbly, my mommy and daddy don't seem quite so excited about it. I'm confused.

Baths are COOL!!!!! My mommy has given me two baths this week, and I LOVE them!!! It's been tough living on dry land since I arrived, so it's a special treat to return to the warm waters from where I came!!

The last bits of crusty stuff fell off the middle of my tummy this week too - and my mommy and daddy keep poking me there and saying "ooooh, he's so cute!!!"

I'm kinda mad at daddy though as he got tickets to go see the San Francisco Giants next week and he won't take me (I even have a Giants hat, and he doesn't) - he says I'm not old enough.

Soon though.

April 17th

I got took to the doctor's office today by my mommy and daddy. They tricked me - I thought we were going for a little drive just to stop me crying (I don't know why I was crying...sometimes I just do), next thing I know I'm getting stripped down to my diaper on this FREEZING cold metal weighing tray, then shunted onto a plastic table and the doctor guy is wearing these wierd headphones and holding another freezing cold round thing on my chest. Why I ask does everything in that place have to be so stinkin' cold? And then they all were so confused when I threw myself a little fit?! Let's see how THEY'D like it.

Oh well, when they were carrying me out of there (all covered up to try and suppress my cries I think), I heard them say that I'd gained nearly 2 pounds. 2 pounds of WHAT? They said it was a good thing though. Actually the doctor kept on saying that I was in great shape!! I like him.

That morning my little belly button thingy fell off - boy am I glad about that! Every time mom or dad would put me on their shoulder, that dried up piece of purple goo would press me right in the tummy. Don't know why mommy and daddy seemed so excited 'bout it. They're funny that way.

I'M HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I finally arrived on March 26th at 9:03am, and I tell ya, I thought I was NEVER gonna come out, despite my mommy's unbelievable effort. I kinda turned around on accident when I wuz inside and I couldn't get myself back the way they wanted me I guess, so I was kinda stuck y'know. But thanks to that nice man in a blue mask, he brought me out of mommy's tummy instead. I know I know, I'm already a little trouble maker!! I'm a Morrison after all!! Wait'll ya see what ELSE I have planned (heh heh).

Apparently I've 'done' something that needs to be cleaned, so I'll write more later...........
